The Yealink W60 DECT Phone Package is the Chinese multi-national’s latest DECT phone solution built to help improve audio quality, boost staff mobility and aid collaboration in a wide variety of different businesses.
As a company that is considered to be the second largest SIP phone provider in the world and has a history of delivering world class business communication solutions to a wide variety of clients, there is much to be expected from Yealink – but how well does the W60 live up to this impressive reputation?
In order to find out, we decided to write an in-depth review, discussing what the phone can do, what features it offers and what types of businesses would benefit most from using them.
How does it look?
Discreet, portable and wall mountable, the W60 DECT base fits seamlessly into any office while the W56H handset it small enough to be carried around in the pocket of a user as they walk freely around their workspace, ensuring they are always reachable throughout the day.

Combining both usability and scalability, the W60 DECT base features a state-of-the-art chip for enhanced capabilities that include support for up to eight handsets, eight SIP accounts and eight simultaneous voice calls.
Both compatible handsets – the W56P (silver with 2.4” TFT colour display) & the W52P (black with 1.8” TFT colour display) offer rich HD voice quality to ensure all audio is recounted with crisp precision and support 3-way conferencing for effortless collaboration.
Offering support for advanced codecs, the Yealink is a future proof investment that delivers much richer capabilities, more stability and endless reliability that will benefit the business time and time again.
One essential component of any DECT phone is mobility and with a powerful Li-Ion battery the W60 package delivers up to 30 hours of talk time and a staggering 400 hours of standby time from a single charge to ensure that users are always reachable throughout the working day.
What did we like most?
When working in large open spaces such as factory floors, supermarkets or warehouses, reliable support and mobility are of the utmost importance – for this reason, we were really impressed with the extensive battery life offered by the W60 Package.

As we previously mentioned, the mobility features, extensive battery life and compact size make this DECT phone an ideal solution for users working in large open business spaces where access to a static, desktop phone is extremely limited.
