What Is A Yealink Recording Calls

To record calls with Yealink phones, you can use either a USB flash drive or an SD card, depending on your phone model. Here are the steps for different models:

Recording via USB Flash Drive

Supported Models:

• T48S/T48G/T46S/T46G/T42S/T41S/VP59/T58A/T58W

• CP925/CP935W/CP965

Steps:

1. Ensure USB Flash Drive is Connected:

• Recording using a USB flash drive is not available by default. Contact your system administrator to enable this feature.

2. During a Call:

• For T4X/T53X/T54W/T57W:

• For CP925/CP935W/CP965:

• For VP59/T58A/T58W:

1. Swipe the soft key area left during a call and then select Record.

2. For T58W, select More > Record.
   

3. Select the recording icon > Record.

4. Choose where to save your recording if a USB flash drive is connected.
   

5. Select More > Start REC.

6. The phone screen will display a recording icon and recording duration.
   

Important Notes:

• The size of a single recording file should be less than 2GB.

• Be aware of the rules and restrictions of call recording in your country.

• Inform all call parties and obtain their consent before recording.

Recording via SD Card

Supported Models:

• CP930W

Steps:

1. Ensure SD Card is Connected:

• By default, you can record your calls into an SD card. For more information on how to attach an SD card, refer to the Quick Start Guide for your phone on Yealink Support.

Playing Recorded Calls

Supported Models:

• VP59/T58A/T58W

Steps:

1. Access Recorder:

• Swipe left or right to go to the second idle screen.

• Tap the Recorder icon to launch the Recorder.
  

2. Play Recorded Call:

• Tap the play icon before the desired recorded call.

• The length of the recording and a progress bar will be displayed as the recording plays.

• Adjust the volume using the Volume key.
