Yes, the Yealink MeetingBar A40 supports wired screen sharing and wired BYOD mode. This can be achieved using the CTP25 with a single USB-C cable. If CTP25 is not used, you can still enable wired screen sharing and BYOD by connecting a USB-C cable directly to the A40, though there may be length limitations.

Yes, the Line-in/Line-out ports on the Yealink MeetingBar A40 can be connected to third-party audio devices. However, both Line-in and Line-out must be used together. You can connect them to an audio output/input device via a 3.5mm audio cable.
The Yealink MeetingBar A40 is compatible with the VCM35 and VCM36 audio units, as well as the CS10 and CM20 microphones for an enhanced audio experience.
In General Mode, the Yealink MeetingBar A40 supports content sharing up to 4K at 15fps.
In Microsoft Teams, it supports 1080p resolution during meetings and 4K resolution for local content sharing.
Direct connection: Connect the A40 VCH port to the Internet port of the CTP25.
Same Local Area Network connection: Connect the CTP25 to PD Power and use a CAT5e cable to connect the CTP25 Internet port. Then, connect both the A40 and CTP25 to the same network. You will need to input the IP address and PIN code to pair the devices.
The built-in audio of the Yealink MeetingBar A40 cannot be used simultaneously with Ceiling Audio Devices. Once the CM20 is connected, the built-in speaker on the A40 will be disabled. Therefore, it is recommended to use the CS10 and CM20 together for optimal audio performance.
The Yealink CTP25 comes with a 1.2-meter USB-C cable as standard. Additionally, a 3-meter USB-C cable (SKU: USB-C-3M) is available as an optional accessory.
