Local Phone Book Information


A local phone book is stored directly on the IP phone’s flash memory and can only be accessed on that specific phone. This is different from a remote phone book, which is stored on a server and can be accessed by multiple users.
You can save contacts from a remote phone book to your local directory for easier access when the remote phone book is not available. Here are the steps for different phone models:
Go to Menu > Directory > Remote Phone Book.
Select the desired remote phone book.
Select the desired contact, then select Option > Add to Contacts.
Edit the corresponding fields.
Select Save.
Tap Directory > Remote Phone Book.
Select the desired remote phone book.
Select the desired contact, then select
> Add.
Edit the corresponding fields.
Select Save.
Go to
> Remote Phone Book.
Select the desired remote phone book.
Tap
beside the desired contact.
Select Add.
Select Local Directory from the Group field.
Select

Go to
> Local Directory > Remote Phone Book.
